Funky Business by Ridderstråle and Nordström
(this is not a sponsored post)
London, 10.00 am. I enter one of my favorite bookstores searching for some new books. I browse through the ‘Business Area’ hoping to find something new, something different, something innovative. Today I’m not looking for an Effective Management book or an Innovative Strategy Manual…I’m not saying that I hate those books, ‘au contraire’ you can always find some new interesting tips reading them, but today I want to find somthing different.
I’ve almost lost my hope when something caught my eye…”What da hell is this?!”
“It’s Funky Business!”

That’s what happened to me last year.
Funky Business is one of the best books I’ve read lately. Why? Well I don’t have time to re-write the 288 page of the book now (because you can skip none of them, are all great…) but I can tell you what’s on its back:
‘In Funky Business Kejell Nordström & Jonas Ridderstråle launch a manifesto for the new world of Business. Forget what has come before; this is the future for organizations & leader.
Only talent will allow you to be unique, to escape business as usual. In this world we need business as unsual. We need innovative business. We need unpredictable business. We need Funky Business.’
This is what made me buy this book, and I wrote this post now so during this weekend you will have time to go and get it from you bookstore or order it from internet. If you are interested to know something more about the book and the authors I suggest you to visit this website www.funkybusiness.com .
