Now I’m Tampere (Finland) for the Mindtrek Conference. In addition to the interesting workshops and sessions, here at Mindtrek they have also created a Facebook group. What I like about this conference is the way they are encouraging the participants to interact with the Facebook group.

Dear MindTrek Friend!

MindTrek Conference will start Wednesday morning, the Workshop Day already tomorrow.

All of you who are not able to participate can see what is happening at the conference on Facebook. Participants of course can extend their experience at Facebook MindTrek Friends page.

The participants will write on the wall and upload pictures to MindTrek Friends page. We welcome tagging and commenting the photos. Wireless lan available, and a facebook laptop for uploading photos for those who left their laptop at home.

There are also two discussion topics open on the discussion board, one for conference feedback and another for ideas on what should happen in MindTrek 2008.
