Questions for LeWeb

Categories: Innovation

Next week I’ll be in Paris for LeWeb! I’m one of their official bloggers so I’ll bring you the best of keynotes, panels and updates from the venue. I’m also planning to record some special episodes with:

So do you have any questions you want me to ask them when they’ll sit in front of my camera? Write them in the comment section.

UPDATE: I noticed that 99% of the questions are coming in through other platforms. So keep sending them also via Twitter, Jaiku, FriendFeed, and Seesmic.

How are you pushing the Web world for open data practices? With social networks, and especially Facebook becoming more and more popular, it is crucial for people to realize that what they give to these networks, and what they daily enjoy in return in the interactions with others, and the connections that are developed, is not granted!

Facebook is a closed system: what goes in, doesn’t come out! This should not be so. The value of the network can and should come from an open approach, and from the respect for the freedom of the user to leave, with her data, not empty-handed!

What are you doing to make sure that people grow accustomed to pretending these freedoms?
How are you preparing for a social, and semantic web that does not lock in?

I would tweet the question but it’s too long! ;-)

There are constantly new tools coming up completing the services of platforms like facebook and twitter. Then these platforms implement some of the tools as inside-application. Can this process be seen as a huge development laboratory and will it all end up in one big mash up one day?

Or will it all pass anyway and turn into something completly different we have no idea about yet?

I'm the CEO of itive.net and this is my personal site. Enjoy it! Andrea
