Hessu Järvinen & Erkka Piirainen on VMC
Episode: VMC #90 – Hessu Järvinen & Erkka Piirainen
I like the mystic atmosphere of this video. I recorded it in a secret spot
in Jyvaskyla (Finland) with two good Finnish social media friends Hessu Järvinen and Erkka Piirainen. We talked about Facebook as a learning platform, social web, tools evolution & usability and more…
Here we go!

Hehe! What a nice atmosphere we had there. Sooo enthusiastic and dynamic. You can see it from the video.
It was really a pleasure talking with you guys…five hours…or was it eight!
We should get back to those start-ups and all the other great ideas again. This should be a tradition! Note to self: Next time park the car somewhere which does NOT close at 2200 hrs
@Hessu: Hahaha! Yep…good to keep in mind the parking tips
Pity we didn’t record more earlier that night. Well next time we’ll do it!
Let’s keep thinking also about our new podcast idea,
Have a nice weekend Hessu!
Andrea
Video doesn’t start?
@Erkka:
Here it works fine! Check your connection/browser
Andrea
Now it works. It was a great night
About that stickiness I was talking about. When WWW gets universal drag&drop.
Think about it: When uploading a pic means just dropping a file to the browser window or handling rss-streams mean just dragging an icon from page to page, we’re there
@Erkka: Love drag&drop
I watched this video interview last night, and picked up on the idea of whether we need a “simpler RSS” over on my blog Connection (I can’t remember if it was Hessu or Erkka who said it). There is a pretty good discussion going–it seems to be something a lot of people have been thinking about lately.
Cheers,
Connie
