Digital Homes Are Here to Stay

Share

Remember when I talked about the future of blogging? Mi ‘Digi-Hermano Canario’ Luis Suarez linked back to my post with an equally thoughtful one that made me jump back to my keyboard and publish these few rows.

Blogging itself will certainly change in shape and form going stream, mobile, real-time… but our digital homes are going to stay. Blogs, or whatever else you are using. You’ll move to new, better or worse residences but you’ll always have or at least feel that need of having one. We all need a digital home and AndreaVascellari.com is mine. I started in 2002, changed platforms, but my blog is still my mother ship.

Here’s Seth Godin’s take on what matters.

I think you’re right–the hub of one’s digital essence should be their own blog and anything porting out from one’s blog should nurture the place where it flows.

@Bernie: Exactly. If not coordinated under a unique umbrella, a highly fragmented presence can easily result in poor or inefficient communication.

BTW love you contribution/comments on #FIR Hehhh… always good thoughts.. keep it up Bernie! :)
