Hell of a chat with Connie Crosby and Eden Spodek

Share

Yesterday I had a very nice evening on oovoo together with Connie Crosby and Eden Spodek. Once again, this mix of different cultures generated a really engaging conversation.

Guess what we shared thoughts about? Social media!

Well actually we started from there and then we spaced on difficulties that people are facing when embracing the digital world here in Europe and there in Canada, multilingual issues online, platforms, RSS adoption, digital natives, PR evolution, transparency VS control in corporate communication… I could make this short by saying that it was a ‘hell of a chat’!

The only downside is that we didn’t record nothing… @oovooTeam: We love oovoo… but please release a new version and let us record oovoo sessions on Mac too! Hopefully next time we’ll get a recorded track to share with you all ;)

We also ended up talking about some great podcasts hosted by other social media friends like David Jones (from the epic Inside PR) and Donna Papacosta (from the juicy Trafcom News). Actually at the end of our chat I was wondering if next time they could join the conversation too?!

David, Donna, what do you think about it?

    Would love to, Andrea. But, hey, it’s video, so give me plenty of notice so that I can make myself presentable. ;-)

    Sure.

    @Donna: No problem! It’s more than understandable, Connie and Eden told the same before we took that snap-shot you see on the post ;)
    @David: Great!

    It is always interesting to talk with you, Andrea.

    Donna: yes, that is always an issue. We try to book talks in advance to ensure we are presentable. LOL.

    I’m in!

    Andrea, I look forward to more interesting ooVoo sessions with you. It’s fascinating to share information about social media behaviour in different cultures.

    @Connie + @Eden: Well, it seems that everybody is in so… can’t wait for the next session!
    Let’s keep in touch as usual and let’s book it in advance ;)
