In my opinion this is a terrific example that demonstrate the value of virtual worlds like Second Life. Bertalan Meskó blogged about it on his www.scienceroll.com.

Now the e-Learning Faculty of Imperial College London created a spectacular and useful Second Life tool in medical education.

Activities that in the real world would be expensive and difficult to do become easy and certainly cheaper if done virtually. Results? Similar to the ones you would get in the real world.
