  1. It’s crazy how much this post appears on time on my needs 🙂 I was just checkin these issue for my new fb page 😀
This because Facebook dont notify me when new comments are left on my page links thourgh its platform.. (I mean the upper left world icon), meanwhile I can check this kind notification from the Facebook iPhone app.. just one word for this…. weird.. -.-‘
Hope this workaround is gonna help me!

    1. @Giuliano: Interesting, I didn’t know that the iphone/ipod app gave notifications, I’ll definitely have to play around with it…but yes, I agree it’s pretty #weird especially since ’email notifications’ is a feature largely requested by administrators. We’ll see what FB will come up with in future to address this need, meanwhile I hope this post will help you out 😉

  2. Is there a way to get updates/posts from a Facebook page’s favorite pages? Facebook Pages can’t “like” pages, and I don’t want to like all these pages from my personal account, but how else can I see their updates (besides going to all 50 pages every day)?

    1. @Lauren: Facebook doesn’t seem to have a page for ‘favorite pages’ yet, if that’s what you meant. The only chance we have is to become fans of pages with our personal profiles and we’ll get all the updates from pages in our news feed within Facebook 😉

  3. is this liking photos on your fan page from you personal page working for anyone? i recenlty liked all of my photos and status updates on my fan page and have not received any notification when comments were lefted. I checked my notification settings and have everythinged checked so idk why it’s not emailing me when comments are left.

  4. I came here as I want email notifications for messages sent directly to fan pages.`

These are genuine customer enquiries that could be made within a few hours of an event. We need to be able to respond to them. But if they do not forward to an email box, we quite often can’t. We cannot keep checking Facebook. A solution would be welcome (some have used the ‘person instead’ approach); in the meantime we will focus on other, better-quality media platforms.
